Audio Transcription
Our transcription services are charged per recorded audio minute and not per hour, allowing you to easily calculate exactly how much each audio file will cost to transcribe. Our low-cost transcription service starts from as little as £0.85p per minute. We offer several turnaround options and corresponding prices for dictation, one-to-one interviews and multiple-speaker files** depending on your requirements.
Please see our rates and options in the table below. Please note that prices quoted are for Intelligent Verbatim (lightly edited) transcripts. For fully verbatim transcripts, please add £0.20p per minute..
*If your recordings aren’t the best quality, just let us know with your enquiry. We don’t charge extra for poor audio, but if a file is too unclear to work with, we’ll let you know before moving forward.
**All 1-2-1 interviews and group recordings include generic speaker labelling of interviewer(s) and respondent(s) as standard. If you require specific label identifiers, please advise us when enquiring. This is charged at an additional £0.20p per minute.
**For anonymity purposes, we can replace any names or location references in the transcript with a generic placeholder. If you need this, just let us know. There is no additional charge for this.

Proofreading
All documents are proofread at a fixed price according to the length of your document, allowing you to calculate the exact price for your work.
Our fixed fee for all document types is £10.00 per thousand words.
For example: for a manuscript of 5,000 words, this works out at £50.00 for the completed document, which is fully proofread, corrected and returned to you within your agreed timeframe.
Copy Typing
Copy typing is charged at a fixed price of £10.00 per thousand words.
For example: a 5,000-word proposal typed from handwritten notes, including a full proofread = £50.00
*Please note that the copy typing rates apply only to clearly legible copy. If the print is not clearly legible, please indicate this upon submission and we will contact you to discuss this before proceeding. *Additional fee applies to urgent same-day or overnight work. Please ask for details.
